Live Within The Year -  in other words,  do not expect to buy succulent fresh peaches, and other summer fruits, in the middle of February.   Apples for summer and fall.    Squashes,  nuts for late fall and into winter.   A specially-cured ham for upcoming holidays.   Fresh meat purchased from local farms.   Pheasant now that it's fall;  warm and toasty hot-chocolate, cider,  tea,  strong coffee.
